The Florida Initial Medical Licensure Program

Complete the Florida Initial Medical Licensure program to satisfy mandatory requirements in human trafficking, prescribing controlled substances/opioids, medical errors, domestic violence, and HIV/AIDS. 

If you are renewing your license for the first time, you are exempt from the general CME requirements and are only required to complete two (2) hours of prevention of medical errors, one (1) hour of HIV/AIDS, and, if you have DEA registration, at least two (2) hours on controlled substances/opioids. Additionally, you must complete one (1) on human trafficking and two (2) hours on domestic violence every third biennial.

    When ready, take open-book assessment and input answers using NETPASS.
  • 3) Print Certificate

    After receiving passing score, complete evaluation and customer information to print certificate.
